简介：墨比斯，原名让·吉罗（Jean Henri Gaston Giraud），出生于1938年，是法国漫画家、艺术家、作者与设计师。他被认为是继《丁丁历险记》作者埃尔热之后最重要的欧洲漫画家之一。墨比斯可谓是世上最无可争议的漫画小说大师，其作品跨“现实虚构”与“科幻虚拟”两个领域。他是艺术家、发明家，也是梦想缔造者。 从一件作品到另一件作品，从带有英雄主义色彩的西部漫画角色“蓝莓上尉”到神话般的科幻创作集，他的绘画以错综而明晰的线条描绘出复杂而联锁的世界和充斥着奇异有机体的宇宙。他的作品普遍暗含无限变形的理念。2010年，卡地亚当代艺术基金会为墨比斯举办了一场名为“墨比斯变形”（Mœbius-Transe-Forme）的个展，集中呈现了他的笔记本原件、画板和绘画，以及此前从未展出过的手绘。墨比斯为这场展览改编了其于1990 年创作的漫画作品，由此诞生了其首部3D动画电影《又见地球》（La Planète encore）。 《又见地球》的主人公是墨比斯最喜欢的两个角色阿丹（Atan）和斯迪（Stel），一位是博学多才的飞船指挥官，一位则是天才机械师。他们诞生于墨比斯1983年受雪铁龙公司委托所创作的数页小作品《星之上》。随后，他们成为了墨比斯晚期代表作《伊甸园世界》（Le Monde d'Edena）的主角。《伊甸园世界》可被看作是墨比斯的自传体式作品，他过往惯用的错综线条与激烈画面在这个作品里不复存在，取而代之的是极简线条与诗意画面。这个故事通过阿丹与斯迪的星际迷航与自我发现，向人们呈现了墨比斯围绕人生开展的开放性思考。 在影片《又见地球》中，几乎没有一句对白，纯粹借助画面推动故事情节，观者们随着两位主角共同着陆一片渺无人烟的丛林，探访一座远古神庙，启动一个神秘开关，随后迈入一处幻想之地，穿梭于不明生物之间翱翔与逃生…… 本影片已于2018.4.25-7.29上海当代艺术博物馆“卡地亚当代艺术基金会：陌生风景”中首次与中国观众见面。
