简介：A village girl named Kaichun starts her spring by running away and coming back, trying to figure out who she is and save her little brother. Her mom passed away because of the tough life in the mountains, so Kaichun heads to the city to chase her dream of becoming a flight attendant. Back in the village, she finds her dad obsessed with making kites that no one buys, her brother missing out on school because they’re broke, and some local troublemaker named Huangmao making her life even harder. Kaichun tries to use her savings to get Jiale back in school, but it leads to a huge fight with her dad. Spending time with her brother, she realizes the "kite string" isn’t just about money—it’s the mental chains that’ve been passed down for generations. In the end, Kaichun cuts those ties for good, leaving Jiale a pair of running shoes as a symbol of freedom. With their dad silently full of regret, Jiale takes off into the future, carrying his sister’s hopes with him.
